We use these words from the Buddhist tradition to begin our work on cultivating compassion. We are not aligned with Buddhism or any other religious or spiritual tradition, but we have found that some of the 'universal wisdom' to be found there helps us to realise our vision and CREATE TOGETHERNESS. We feel that people with learning disabilities and other marginalised group have, in many ways, been excluded from this universal wisdom concerning the power of compassion and the gift of loving kindness.
